Cignal Entertainment, Cornerstone Studios and TV5 have officially brought back the well-loved pioneer videoke game show Sing Galing with new features, extra challenges and more hilarious antics. First aired in the late 90s and 2000s, the multi-awarded videoke game show and the first of its kind in the Philippines and Asia gives equal opportunity for everyone to earn just by singing. Participants don't need to be experts and professionals in the art; they only need guts and fun to compete in a videoke format.
More than anything, the return of Sing Galing is TV5's way of providing relief during a time of uncertainty by not only bringing the karaoke bar or party experience closer to home, but also creating an avenue for families and communities to come and bond together in song. Aiming to reach anyone who wants to sing - young or old, amateur or pro - the show encourages everyone to join in as stated by its mantra "Magkaka-sing galing tayong lahat". Each episode offers a platform for three contestants, dubbed as 'singtestants' to compete in three fun rounds that will challenge their luck, knowledge of songs and lyrics recall.
With the help and expertise of its hosts - Singmasters Randy Santiago, K Brosas and Donita Nose - and jury - Jukebosses Rey Valera, Jessa Zaragoza, and Ronnie Liang - both the contenders and viewers at home dubbed as Ka-Awitbahay are up for weeknight harmonies with their families and loved ones. Heck, even the iconic Genie is back with a revamped new look going alone with his onscreen antics. After three rounds of singing goodness, one of the three contestants will be proclaimed as the Bida-Oke Star Of The Night who will be vying all the way to the Grand Finals. On the other hand, netizens can experience Sing Galing's digiverse and join in on the conversation on Sing Galing: Now Zending hosted by viral singing sensation Zendee every Monday to Friday at 6:00 pm on the official Facebook page and YouTube channel of TV5 and Sing Galing.
Tune in at 6:30 pm every Monday to Friday on TV5 for an entertaining, light and enjoyable bonding experience for everyone and anyone who enjoys singing - Sing Galing, Ang Original Videoke Kantawanan Ng Bansa!
