Binge-Watch Movies And Lessons For Kids On TV With GMA Affordabox

Viewers will have more reasons to love GMA Affordabox and experience all the feels right in the comforts of their homes as they get to watch movies all day, everyday on GMA Network's newest digital channel iHeart Movies. On the other hand, students saying safe at home can enjoy studying their lessons on their television screens with DepEd TV, the Department of Education's platform for multimedia classes, on GMA Affordabox as well.

Launched last April, iHeart Movies gives movie enthusiasts a whole new level of viewing experience as they get to binge on local and international films - from drama, romance, comedy, action to horror - which are clearer, more colorful and of better quality that suits well for a more practical home theater atmosphere. The channel offers a wide variety of free-to-air and all-time favorite Pinoy and foreign flicks through its movie blocks that tailored to fit all ages - Timeless Telesine, Takilya Throwback, Pinoy Movie Date and Block Screening. To further highlight the addition of iHeart Movies to the growing roster of GMA digital channels, GMA Network introduced its newest GMA Affordabox ambassador Richard Yap through its latest campaign where he is joined by the Queen of Creative Collaborations Heart Evangelista-Escudero who also happens to be his on-screen partner in the upcoming romantic comedy series "I Left My Heart In Sorsogon" and Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes.

On the other hand, GMA Network provides DepEd TV for free in cooperation with DepEd on the continuing implementation of its blended learning program as it helps make education accessible to more Filipino learners in the world. Formally launched on May 24th, DepEd TV offers new episodes with programs designed for Grades 1 to 10 every Monday to Saturday from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. Each episode available in English and Filipino runs for 20-30 minutes with five-minute breaks in between and features fresh lessons in Mathematics, English, Filipino and Science with different timeslots per grade level. DepEd TV also broadcasts select episodes and lessons that are Mother Tongue-Based (MTB) to make learners in the provinces better understand their lessons as well as quick COVID-19 tips throughout the day to keep students informed on the health and safety measures amidst the ongoing threat of the pandemic.

Catch iHeart Movies on channel 5 and DepEd TV every Monday to Saturday, 7:00 am-7:00 pm, on channel 7 on GMA Affordabox. Viewers may likewise continue to access GMA, GTV, Heart Of Asia and Hallypop on the digital TV receiver as well as other free-to-air digital channels available per area.
