As the number of cashless transactions is expected to double by the years 2025-2030, Go Shopping Philippines (GSP) formally launched its own virtual shopping mall that offers safe, quality purchases and a digital lifestyle experience unmatched by existing online shopping and e-commerce platforms. It is now possible to order products online and have them delivered on your doorstep via the Go Shopping Philippines (GSP) mobile app. The logistics system combines third-party couriers, storage and delivery. Concerning security, GSP offers an ERP system that automates corporate procedures like storage and logistics.
Even as early as 2019, GSP Chief Executive Officer Neil G. La-As envisioned a new digital mall that offers quality products consumers deserve. He believes that online transactions do not need to be as disappointing as many consumers experience. They expect value for their money despite doing the orders before actually seeing them. Knowing such frustrating experiences from online purchases as he himself experienced it, La-As said GSP ensured its merchants are committed to provide a global standard of service. Its e-commerce site requires merchants to provide certifications on the authenticity of the products slated to be sold in the GSP Mall. Known to be a builder of huge e-commerce sites, consumers can now enjoy the digital mall experience they aspire to enjoy thanks to a partnership with GSP.
On the other hand, aside from its mobile app and logistics system, GSP sports various technological innovations and AI (Artificial Intelligence) enhancements that can eventually satisfy those who are seeking value for their money. These include an analytics program, dual security system comprising of anti-fraud mechanism and firewalls and the Know Your Customer (KYC) verification process where a customer is required to snap a picture of himself along with a copy of his valid ID. Even in the midst of the continuing pandemic lockdowns, GSP enables a much faster access to diagnostic clinics, gallery and museum services, tailoring services, legal and other professional services housing classic brick and mortar businesses and slthese will be given in phases.
On its soft launch, GSP has also launched GFlix, a video on-demand streaming service offering a wide selection of local and international films; GO LIVE, a live streaming tool for events and conferences; GO THEATRE, a 3D virtual theatre with several halls, safe online tickets and high-quality audio and video setup; and GoTV, a 24/7 channel that will broadcast select television shows through a smartphone. GSP has also partnered with travel apps, travel agencies, tourism boards, payment centers, banks, financial technology firms and government agencies for further virtual convenience. Furthermore, the first virtual shopping mall in the Philippines will incorporate a trading space dedicated to micro, small and medium enterprise (MSME) businesses which will help business owners sell their wares while customers can choose from an array of particular crafts and services from small manufacturers across different parts of the country. After all, GSP is not about delivering one's favorite products in their original state but also the enjoyment, convenience and satisfaction of a shopping mall experience without the need to go outside.
