With the threat of COVID-19 still present in the country, ABS-CBN’s top stars and news personalities urged Filipinos to continue following safety protocols and to get vaccinated to ensure the well-being of their loved ones during this pandemic. In a public service ad released last November 5th on various ABS-CBN platforms, actors Coco Martin, Jodi Sta. Maria, Enrique Gil, Liza Soberano, and Angel Locsin, together with “TV Patrol” anchors Henry Omaga-Diaz, Karen Davila, and Bernadette Sembrano reminded the public on what they can do to prevent the spread of COVID-19, especially among children and senior citizens at home.
These include getting inoculated when given the opportunity, wearing face masks properly, frequent handwashing or use of alcohol to disinfect hands, avoiding non-essential travel and going to crowded areas, and maintaining physical distance. They also encouraged those who are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms to immediately inform their Barangay Health Center and follow the instructions and medical advice given to them. The main star and creative consultant of FPJ's Ang Probinsyano emphasized that while observing the protocols and taking all these precautionary measures may seem difficult, it is a sacrifice worth making to protect the people we love. “Alam po natin na ito’y maaaring isang malaking abala, pero mas malaki pong problema kapag tayo’y lumala, makahawa ng iba, at lalo na po ng mga bata. Kaya po natin ito, para sa kanila,” said Coco.
Aside from the public service ad, ABS-CBN will also release a series of safety reminders infographics and informative features on its news platforms as part of its continuing efforts to empower the Filipino people in the fight against COVID-19, following its Ligtas Pilipinas sa COVID-19 awareness campaign in 2020. Balitanghali: 16 Years Of Serving The Hottest Daily Midday News

As it celebrates its 16th year this November, Balitanghali remains the preferred midday news source by viewers and critics alike. At the 42nd Catholic Mass Media Awards, Balitanghali took home the “Best Special Event Coverage'' award for its coverage of the eruption of Taal Volcano in 2020.
Balitanghali is anchored by seasoned journalists Raffy Tima and Connie Sison. PlayPark PH, Gaming Community Donate Over Php1M To COVID-19 Response And Charities

The Filipino gaming community was able to raise more than Php 300,000 during Cabal Mobile’s Charity Stream event last August. PlayPark Philippines, on its part, matched and raised the amount and covered more than Php 700,000 to reach over one million pesos. The amount was duly turned over to the Philippine General Hospital Medical Foundation Inc., along with several other charitable institutions that offer services to our COVID-19 affected countrymen. All the beneficiaries were notified of their respective donations ahead of time, and all safety precautions were observed prior, during, and after the turnovers were conducted during the month of September.
“In behalf of our kababayans affected by COVID-19, taos puso akong nagpapasalamat sa lahat ng nagbigay ng tulong. Our community’s willingness and heart for sharing are beams of light in the midst of the pandemic,” said PlayPark Philippines Managing Director Apollo Dionglay. Shopee Provides More Comfortable Vaccination Experience For Quezon City Residents And Frontliners

Shopee, the leading e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia and Taiwan, partnered with the local government unit (LGU) of Quezon City to provide care packages to residents getting vaccinated and to frontliners tirelessly serving the local community. On October 27, Shopee rolled out its vaccination center support in the Barangay Holy Spirit Covered Court by giving out food and health kits from partner brands under Shopee Mall, to more than 900 frontliners and residents.
