Hong Kong-based eSports company YeSports has successfully held the first YeSports University League 2022 PUBG MOBILE Tournament on March 25-26, 2022 (Saturday - Sunday). The regional tournament in Philippines has a streaming reach of over 7.65 million people to our Facebook, YouTube and Twitch live stream. It was a tremendous success for both the gaming community and YeSports.
The YeSports University League is becoming one of the biggest tournament series in the history with students all over the world competing their way for the ultimate glory. Not only did YeSports build a stage for the university students to compete among themselves in the community, the finalists of the tournament will also get the chances to be invited to compete in the Finals fighting against the top tier players and athletes around the world on the stage. YeSports is dedicated to nurture young gaming talents and offering them opportunities to thrive. Winners were awarded a prize pool combination consisting of scholarships, cash prizes, Corporate Spokemen contracts, and free NFT airdrops. More exciting after parties and events are included and the winning athletes will get to tune in for an exclusive eSports + virtual experiences.
The event has attracted over 300 teams from over 100 schools in Philippines. Only the Top 16 teams from throughout the universities in Philippines were qualified for the Final stage of the competition which was streamed live on Facebook, Twitch and YouTube on March 26, 2022. The top 16 teams then outperformed their opponents throughout the Final stage, engaging in fierce and tactical combat for the fascinating prizes in the Grand Finals. During the tournament, all the participants had demonstrated incredible and magnificent skills. When the dust is all settled, 2EZ APH came out on top taking home the cash prize of Php20,000, Celsius products and Airdrop Tiger Guardians NFT x4 for being the strongest throughout the tournament. In the meantime, second-placed Beta Nebula took home Php10,000, Celsius products and Airdrop Tiger Guardians NFT x2 while Stronghold Gazboys was awarded Php3,300, Celsius products, Airdrop Tiger Guardians NFT x1 for placing third in the tournament.
