From waking up in the morning, going to work and school, traveling on the road, to coming home at night, radio has been a part of the daily life of many ordinary Filipinos. Even before the arrival of television or the internet, radio served as the carrier of relevant news and information to Filipinos. Until now, radio is still included in homes, in travel, and expected especially in times of calamity or emergency. Apart from this, DWPM Radyo 630 and its television counterpart Teleradyo Serbisyo intensified communication with their listeners and viewers by giving priority to public service for every Filipino.

DWPM Radyo 630 and Teleradyo Servisyo also want to be a light for Filipinos and remind them that they are not alone, no matter what they are facing. That's why last December 12, 2023, DWPM Radyo 630 and Teleradyo Serbisyo anchors Alvin Elchico, Doris Bigornia, Atty. Noel Del Prado, and Lyza Aquino brought early Christmas joy to more than 294 families of Barangay Addition Hills, Mandaluyong City that lost their homes by fire. On February 12, 2023, almost 192 families had their homes burned in the said village. It was followed by another fire on June 14, 2023 that affected 102 families. Wishing to bring smiles back to the affected residents, the anchors delivered Noche Buena gift packs and raffle prizes. So despite the trials and challenges experienced by the likes of Fernando Hernandez who lost his gear in a fire and is treating his son with epilepsy, the event helped give some hope for a happier and brighter new year for his family. "Malaking bagay ito sa ating mga kababayan lalo ngayong medyo mataas ang bilihin ng bawat pamilya kaya malaking tulong at talagang pinagpapasalamat ko ito (This is a big deal for our countrymen, especially now that the prices of what each family needs everyday are relatively high, so it's a big help and I'm really grateful for it)," said Barangay Captain Carlito Cernal of Barangay Addition Hills. In addition, Radyo 630 also delivered gifts and fun to different barangays across Metro Manila almost every week throughout the month of December.
