The landmark agreement forged and signed last December 4, 2024 will see all of the highly-anticipated global sporting event's 63 matches involving 32 of the best clubs to be broadcasted worldwide via free-to-view live-streaming on DAZN in multiple languages and includes the possibility of sublicensing to local free-to-air linear broadcast networks. The partnership began with the Draw for the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 which was held last December 5, 2024 in Miami, Florida where the 32 participating clubs discovered their group-stage opponents in front of a live studio event audience including top FIFA officials and those of the participating regional and national football associations worldwide, global football personalities and esteemed guests.
