The Filinvest Tent in Alabang, Muntinlupa City recently played host to “Himig At Tinig Para Kay Inang Maria”, a moving event that served as a deeply spiritual benefit concert dedicated to providing essential support for elderly and ailing priests who have spent their lives in service to the Church and their communities. Held last October 25, 2025 during the spiritual observance of the Month of the Holy Rosary, the concert successfully drew a crowd of all ages, uniting them in a collective act of devotion and gratitude to the Blessed Mother Mary.
Priests representing various dioceses and regions, including Fr. Itoy Ignacio, Fr. Willie Ramos, and Fr. Joaquin Arada, led the hundreds of attendees in praying the Mysteries of the Holy Rosary. These initial moments provided a space for profound hope, personal reflection, and spiritual renewal, grounding the concert’s mission in genuine faith. Himig At Tinig Para Kay Inang Maria highlighted the universal themes of maternal love, guidance, and unwavering strength by focusing on the figure of Mother Mary. As the prayers concluded, the music took center stage and the venue echoed with Marian hymns and uplifting Christian melodies that united the diverse audience. The stage came alive with performances from a talented roster of Filipino artists and groups. Audiences were treated to the inspiring harmonies of the Musicam Sacram Ensemble and The Voices In Harmony, the clear soaring notes of the Las PiƱas Boys Choir, and exceptional individual contributions from Lucas DC, Aileen Hildawa, Jamm Rea and Laarni Lozada. The night saw several other heartwarming performances that captivated the audience. Brothers Ranni and Lance Raymundo graced the stage, alongside the powerful voices of Alex Quebral, Onie Zamora and Abby Mercado, whose performances earned a thunderous, well-deserved round of applause from the appreciative crowd. Also delivering a memorable set was Eric Verde who proved to be a crowd favorite with his many supportive fans. Verde’s performance stood out, lauded for his equally captivating voice and appealing stage presence.

However, the most compelling moments arrived when the artists intertwined their personal stories of faith with their music, bridging the gap between performance and genuine testimony. One such highlight was the moving appearance of Frenchie Dy. She captivated the audience by performing ‘Someone Who Believes In You’ by Air Supply, interpreting the heartfelt song into an expression of enduring faith. Frenchie candidly shared that she has experienced Bell’s Palsy three times and her performance powerfully illustrated how her deep spiritual conviction was the true source of strength that helped her navigate and overcome those significant physical challenges. The night was further illuminated by the presence of Angeline Quinto who brought her signature vocal energy to the stage with popular Christian-themed songs like ‘I Say A Little Prayer’ and ‘Ain’t No Mountain High Enough’. Before her final song, she shared a poignant, personal story about “Huwag Kang Mangamba”. Angeline revealed that the song holds a truly special significance for her because she recorded it in 2020 while her mother, affectionately known as Mama Bob, was in critical condition at the hospital. The singer emotionally recounted how hearing the song instantly dispelled her fear, because she felt the comforting presence of the Lord and Mother Mary beside Mama Bob.
