Predator Gaming brought together the top eSports teams from different parts of the country to compete for pride, glory, and the opportunity in the global professional gaming stage in the Predator League 2026 Philippine Qualifiers. From the qualifying rounds that kicked off last September, the top four DOTA 2, VALORANT, and League Of Legends squads were gathered at the SM North EDSA Annex last November 15-16, 2025 for a weekend filled with high-stakes, high-octane eSports action in front of a packed crowd and with exclusive spots at the Predator League 2026 APAC Finals in India on January 2026 along with a share of the Php500,000 prize pool.

The Grand Finals for DOTA 2, headlining Day 1 of the Philippine Finals, pitted the long-standing squad Execration against the new team Kukuys which is brimming with talent. Execration brought back players like Justine ‘Tino’ Grimaldo and Bryle ‘cml’ Alvizo who helped them win the Philippine Finals last year. However, winning again was going to be a tall order against the star power of captain Carlo ‘Kuku’ Palad, Armel Tabios, and Djardel ‘DJ’ Mampusti. An impressive 12-0-16 performance by Mark ‘Bob’ Urbina’s Slardar opened the floodgates for Execration in Game 1. A strong draft and laning stage helped Execration in Game 2. Despite the questionable fountain dive by Jinn ‘Palos’ Lamatao, Execration still easily secured the win by pure economic advantage. With Kukuys looking to prevent a sweep, substitute player Charles ‘lewis’ Santos and his Ursa kept his team’s hopes alive alongside DJ’s MVP performance on his Hoodwink during the 45-minute slugfest. Kuku has always been a fan of unorthodox drafts, and he proved his mettle with two unusual carry picks to finish the series. Execration was blindsided by the Batrider and Bristleback from lewis and Kukuys executed the reverse sweep. Kukuys denied Execration the back-to-back Philippine Championship, thanks to the drafting and leadership of Kuku, as they lifted the Predator Shield in front of an ecstatic crowd. Ahead of the Grand Finals, Team Nemesis faced Interactive Philippines for the final spot in India at the Battle for Third Place. Team Nemesis showcased star player Marc Polo ‘Raven’ Fausto who brings years of international DOTA 2 experience. Interactive Philippines was clearly the underdog in their matchup but is not without a fight. Hard support player James ‘Erice’ Guerra leads a young team with something to prove. However, the young squad was overwhelmed by the experience and star power of Team Nemesis. Raven was in top form, averaging 10 kills and 12 assists in the series.

Day 2 of Predator League featured League of Legends for the first time and the FPS staple VALORANT in front of a lively crowd at the SM North EDSA Annex. NAOS eSports claimed the League of Legends title over favorites West Point eSports – Academy with Fervent eSports conquering over MCOM eSports in the Battle for 3rd Place. Meanwhile, local mainstay Oasis Gaming solidified their status as a major VALORANT team in the country against rising newcomer Xipto eSports in the Grand Final. The first game in the series was won by Oasis Gaming, starting with their opening pick of Sunset. Mark ‘Marky’ Tuling led the charge with his Yoru, racking up 19 frags and two assists in the map that Oasis Gaming dominated with a score of 13-5. Game 2 saw another strong performance from Oasis Gaming in Abyss. Jon Michael ‘tesseract’ Piga was on a mission for Oasis with his Sova. With flawless utility and aim for the Initiation, Xipto eSports didn’t stand a chance in a 13-3 rout. But Xipto eSports proved that Oasis Gaming does bleed like the rest with a comeback victory in Corrode. John Timothy ‘JA’ Arone’s 31 frags outpaced Jhian ‘Zeus’ Dela Vega’s 23 frags, forcing a Game 4. Xipto’s Bind pick didn’t work out in their favor. Oasis Gaming’s firepower was coming from all directions, and Xipto eSports were overwhelmed 13-6. Zeus once again proves he’s one of the best Raze players in the country as Oasis Gaming lifts the Predator Shield and takes home Php200,000. Earlier in the day, VALORANT also featured a showmatch of the stars between pro player Gian Carlo ‘Giansanity’ Abilla and Acer Ambassador Will Ashley. Team Giansanity included streamers Jillipuff and Shogun. Meanwhile, Team Will showcased Amara and Gabteezy for the fun matchup. While the map was full of laughs and antics, in the end, Team Giansanity emerged victorious with a 13-3 scoreline.

Kukuys, Execration, Team Nemesis, Oasis Gaming, Xipto eSports, and NAOS eSports will move on to the Asia Pacific Predator League 2026 Grand Finals in India and are set to duke it out against the region’s best.
