Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation (RCBC) recently announced that its Mastercard and Visa credit cardholders can now use Google Pay in the Philippines and overseas, enabling fast, secure, and convenient contactless payments and e-commerce checkouts. This launch aligns with the recent introduction of Google Pay to the country, providing RCBC credit cardholders with immediate access to this innovative payment solution. RCBC is one of the first banks in the Philippines to launch Google Pay for both its Mastercard and Visa credit card customers.
RCBC Credit Cardholders can now add their Mastercard and Visa cards to Google Wallet and pay with Google Pay for faster, safer, and easier contactless payments. With this technology, cardholders can enjoy the convenience of paying by simply tapping their NFC-enabled Android phones at any contactless terminal — whether in the Philippines or anywhere in the world. They can also enjoy a significantly faster checkout process on various e-commerce sites and apps once their payment details are securely saved in Google Pay. To celebrate the launch, RCBC Credit Cardholders can avail of exclusive treats and a chance to win a new device starting December 1, 2025:
• Free Meal Treats (Until December 31, 2025): RCBC Mastercard cardholders will enjoy a free Jollibee Yumburger Solo or Peach Mango Pie for their Php1,000 and up single-receipt domestic purchase using Google Pay. RCBC Visa cardholders can grab a free Chowking Pork Chao Fan or Chunky Asado Siopao on the same qualifying purchase.
• Raffle Entry (Until January 31, 2026): Each Google Pay transaction using an RCBC Mastercard or Visa credit cards will automatically earn a raffle entry for a chance to win a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7.
To begin using Google Pay, RCBC credit cardholders must download the Google Wallet app from the Google Play Store. Then upon opening the Google Wallet on an NFC-enabled Android smartphone, select “Add a card”, enter the RCBC Credit card details, and follow the necessary verification steps to complete the process.
