A+E Korea’s new romantic comedy series Love In Sync premiered last July 4, 2026, bringing together Kim Myung-soo, Kang Min-ah, Kwon So-hyun and Shin Woo-gyeom in a heart-fluttering story about romance, growth and unexpected emotional connection. Love In Sync follows a woman who lacks empathy and a man burdened by others’ emotions and a man who carries too much of it. Through a surreal phenomenon known as “emotional transference”, the two become emotionally connected and gradually relearn what it means to understand and care for others. Love In Sync airs fresh new episodes every Saturday at 10:50 pm (KST) on Lifetime Korea, LG U+tv Mobile and Disney+ in Korea. The series is also available globally via Disney+ in Japan and Viu across multiple territories in Southeast Asia, Oceania and the Middle East.

The series is written by Jung Yeon and Kim Sung-rae, directed by Kim Chil-bong who is known for Numbers: Watchers Of The Building Forest and The Second Husband, presented by A+E Global Media, and produced by WEMAD, LG U+ and MBC C&I. A+E Korea is leading the production investment and global distribution of Love In Sync, reflecting the company’s strategy of connecting premium Korean storytelling with audiences around the world. As a global content investor and distributor, A+E Korea continues to identify new business opportunities centered on premium Korean drama IP, bridging Korea’s world-class production capabilities with the growing global demand for Korean content. Through strategic co-production models and partnerships with leading production companies, broadcasters, and streaming platforms, the company is committed to developing globally competitive content for international audiences. Since entering the Korean market in 2017, A+E Korea has expanded its investment in premium original content, building an integrated model spanning development, production investment, international sales and global distribution. Over the past decade, the company has invested in 13 Korean drama series that have reached audiences across multiple platforms and territories worldwide. The addition of four distinctive cast members has already drawn strong attention from prospective viewers.

Kim Myung-soo stars as Cha Eun-hwan, a well-known psychological counselor who has gained popularity for his unconventional counseling methods. After an unexpected encounter with top star Yoo Ji-an, played by Kang Min-ah, he becomes caught up in a series of unpredictable events. Although Eun-hwan may appear playful and smooth on the outside, he is a complex character who secretly carries the emotions of others more heavily than anyone else. Kim Myung-soo, who has proven his solid acting skills in Dare To Love Me, Numbers: Watchers Of The Building Forest and Miss Hammurabi, is expected to bring delicate nuance to a character shaped by the drama’s unique concept of emotional transference. Kang Min-ah plays Yoo Ji-an, a top star and former member of a nationally beloved girl group. Ji-an began her career as a child actress and grew up under the overprotective care of her mother. Later, as she continued her career as both an idol and actress under the strict control of her agency, she became someone with a limited ability to empathize with others. Having long believed that the world revolves around her, Ji-an faces an unexpected crisis and gradually begins to change after meeting Cha Eun-hwan. Kang Min-ah, who has captivated audiences with her versatile charms in Bloodhounds 2, At A Distance Spring Is Green, Beyond Evil, and True Beauty, is expected to portray the growth of an arrogant yet vulnerable top star with fresh appeal.

Kwon So-hyun adds tension to the story as Han Yi-jin, a rising actress and Yoo Ji-an’s rival. Yi-jin was once a member of the same girl group as Ji-an. After Ji-an, the center of the group, left and the team eventually moved toward disbandment, Yi-jin developed a deep sense of inferiority. Drawing on her own experience as a former girl group member, Kwon So-hyun is expected to portray the character’s emotional arc with realism and depth. Having delivered stable performances in My Perfect Stranger, Love All Play and Class Of Lies, she is set to heighten the drama’s emotional immersion. Shin Woo-gyeom plays Dong-kyung, Cha Eun-hwan’s best friend, bringing bright and cheerful energy to the series. Dong-kyung is a true extrovert with lively charm, standing by Eun-hwan through both joyful and difficult moments as a loyal friend and dependable supporter. Shin Woo-gyeom, who has shown steady acting in Numbers: Watchers Of The Building Forest, The Second Husband and Sweet Munchies, is expected to showcase another memorable performance in Love In Sync. The production team expressed, “The cast’s outstanding performances will bring credibility and emotional depth to the fresh concept of emotional transference. We hope viewers will pay close attention to the multidimensional changes each character experiences within this extraordinary situation.”
