The inaugural showcase featured eight exciting World Premieres including the rebirth of Quintet’s Japanese ARPG icon Terranigma from Clear River Games, the flash launch announcement of Blaster Bug from Dotemu (an action packed Bomberman inspired 8-player couch multiplayer game, which is free to play now), and the return of Alien Breed, the first new retro release to come to market through Commodore’s resurrection.

Opening the debut Pixel Arcadia event in style, this World Premiere marks the long-awaited return of a truly beloved Japanese Action RPG never before released in North America. Licensed by Square Enix and published by Clear River Games, Terranigma returns to modern platforms in 2027 with development supported by several members of the original Quintet team.
World Premiere: Blaster Bug | Dotemu
From the team behind Windjammers 2 comes a frenetic new action packed arcade gem. A love letter to Bomberman and other couch games from the early 90s featuring hand drawn 2D sprites and a wide variety of game modes for up to eight players. Blaster Bug is available to download free immediately.
