The Philippines’ first queer dating reality show is about to get hotter as “Sparks Camp” brings a new sizzling twist for its fourth season: the introduction of its Momolan where anything goes for its campers, and viewers can watch their wildest and most romantic moments on the island, streaming exclusively on iWant.

Beyond the intense romantic moments, Momolan will be introduced as a private safe space for campers to express themselves fully and a place to breathe amid the rising tension and drama. The series' director Theodore Boborol explained, “For the first time this season, they can go inside Momolan and do whatever they want. If they want to express themselves, breathe, and shout, they can freely go inside even when solo.” Also unique to the season are the challenges for the campers outside the island as they go on an excursion trip in hopes of further finding their true connection among themselves. Meanwhile, the show’s host and Mother Sparker, Mela Habijan, expressed elation for the newest season of “Sparks Camp” and the excitement of unfolding new queer love stories on the island, stating, “Imagine, four seasons of ‘Sparks Camp,’ and now I am a mother of 40 campers! Isang malaking pasasalamat sa universe that we still get to share queer stories and show what queer love is all about.”

The newest season features a highly diverse group of campers, each with a unique story to tell. Among the introduced campers are “Mr. Explore-Actor” Tommy, “The Drag Queen-Sation” Ian, “The Japinoy Charmer” Taku, “The Shy Achiever” Jury, and “The Babyboy Next Door” Michael. Also joining to find their match are “The Walkin’ Conyo Heartthrob” Joaquin, “The Gio-Target Chinito” Gio, “The Genz-Incere Lover” EJ, “The Daddy-Sirable Cutie” Beej, and “The Fil-Am-Azing Wonderboy” Howie. The fourth season of “Sparks Camp” is co-produced by iWant and PlayTime Entertainment, following the success of the vertical drama series “Will You Fake Marry Me?” starring JM Ibarra and Fyang Smith. Sparks will fly in the newest season of “Sparks Camp,” streaming exclusively on iWant every Wednesday for its early access episodes through its subscription plans starting at Php35 per month in the Philippines, US$12.99 per month in the United States, and US$4.99 for the rest of the world. Enna And Geo Make Caring For The Planet Fun In Knowledge Channel's “Enna You Know!”

Everyday habits, from leaving appliances plugged in to extensive faucet use, can affect the environment more than the youth may realize. Knowledge Channel’s newest educational series “Enna You Know!” helps students understand these problems and discover simple ways to care for the planet. Premiered last September 16 on DepEd TV powered by Knowledge Channel, the four-episode series follows curious teenager Enna (Zavinna Badena) as she encounters environmental concerns at home and in her community.

To find answers, Enna turns to her older brother Geo (Benedix Ramos), a field-based environmental scientist who explains the science behind each situation and shows her practical solutions. Through the siblings’ conversations and experiences, young viewers are encouraged to turn eco-friendly practices into everyday habits. Designed for Grade 9 and Grade 10 students, “Enna You Know!” tackles energy conservation, environmental sustainability, and climate action in an engaging and relatable way. The series was developed by Knowledge Channel Foundation Inc. (KCFI), together with Schneider Electric Foundation, Schneider Electric Philippines, Makesense Asia, and the Department of Education (DepEd). It is part of “Project Shaping Energy”, an initiative that promotes energy literacy and sustainability education in public high schools. KCFI Vice President Edric Calma stressed that educational programs such as “Enna You Know!” can help generations of students better understand science and develop greater concern for the environment, stating, “Ang investment po sa education, katulad ng mga ginawa nating video lessons na ito, ay makabuluhan at sustainable. Taun-taon, ilang mga bata ang matututo ng science nang maayos at magmamahal sa ating kalikasan dahil sa mga videos na ito.” During the program’s launch, KCFI and its partners also turned over educational materials containing all four episodes to Science teachers from the DepEd Schools Division Office of Rizal.

“Enna You Know!” airs every Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday, during the Grade 9 to 10 block, at 4:00 pm, with replays at 10:40 pm, on DepEd TV powered by Knowledge Channel which is available nationwide on digital free TV through BEAM channel 31 and SBN channel 21; direct-to-home satellite through Cignal, GSat, and SatLite; and cable through SkyCable, SkyTV and Philippine Cable and Telecommunications Association member operators.

IV OF SPADES Searches For Something Real With New Single “Isang Pag-Ibig”

(Image Source: Manila Standard/IV OF SPADES)

Filipino alternative quartet IV OF SPADES releases its newest single “Isang Pag-ibig”, out now worldwide on digital music streaming platforms via Sony Music Entertainment, with its music video now available on the band's official YouTube channel. The track explores the search for genuine connection while acknowledging a very painful truth: giving everything you have may not be enough to make someone love you back.

Sonically, the song embraces a no-frills approach. Built around jangly guitars, a simple three-chord progression, and a straight-forward four-piece band arrangement, “Isang Pag-ibig” carries the loose, immediate quality of the period in which it was written. Its simplicity is part of its appeal, allowing the sentiment to come through clearly. The track also signals an exciting period of renewed creativity and productivity for the band, hinting at a potential body of work to come. The release arrives amidst a splendid year for the band, career-wise. Following their reunion in late 2025, Unique Salonga, Zild Benitez, Blaster Silonga, and Badjao de Castro continued their winning streak with a nationwide tour, high-profile appearances, award recognitions, and upcoming international dates — all while breaking streaming records and landing at the top of the charts. The band’s Andalucia Tour 2026 extended its reunion-era momentum outside of Manila, with stops in Davao City, Santa Rosa, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu City, and Baguio. From there, the group will also take its music to North America in October with confirmed performances in the USA and Canada. Their return has likewise earned multiple nominations at several award-giving bodies including two People’s Choice nods at the Filipino Music Awards 2026 and multiple nominations at the 39th Awit Awards.

Their resurgence has also sparked renewed interest in their earlier work “Kabisado” which has earned nearly 80 million streams on Spotify alone. To date, it has peaked inside the top 10 of the Spotify Philippines Daily Chart and at No. 6 on the Billboard Philippines Hot 100. That renewed attention reinforces the scale of their comeback. Nearly a decade after it was written, IV OF SPADES’ “Isang Pag-ibig” turns back the clock without simply reverting backward. A song written at the beginning of their story now finds its place in a different chapter of their personal life and career.

Majarlica Turns Diary Entry Into New Single “Romantiko”

Singer-songwriter and producer Majarlica, whose real name is Angelica Tagagtad, transforms a private diary entry into an introspective R&B/soul track about mistakes, lessons, and healing in her new single “Romantiko”, now available worldwide on digital music streaming platforms under StarPop PH. Written and produced by Majarlica, “Romantiko” reflects on the experiences that shape a person’s understanding of love. What began as a personal reflection eventually became a song that celebrates growth, healing, and becoming ready for the kind of love one hopes to receive.

StarPop label head Roque “Rox” Santos served as the track’s supervising producer. Through her music, Majarlica embraces vulnerability as a source of strength, drawing from her own stories and emotions to create songs that are personal yet relatable. She shared on social media, “I write and perform songs close to my heart, celebrating the magic in everyday life. I find it empowering to be confidently vulnerable. Being Majarlica, to me, means embodying Filipina warriorness, reclaiming my voice through stories that are brave, imperfect, and deeply human.” One of StarPop’s new artists, Majarlica is a Canada-based media artist, filmmaker, and singer-songwriter born in Quezon City. Her diverse creative background allows her to explore different forms of storytelling with music serving as one of her ways to turn personal experiences and observations into meaningful narratives. Majarlica made her mark as a songwriter, writing songs for artists including Belle Mariano, Kai Montinola, Michelle Dee, and many more. She has also shared the stage with some of the Philippines’ well-loved OPM acts, opening for Parokya ni Edgar, Ben&Ben, and The Itchyworms during their shows in Canada.

She began releasing her own music in 2023 with singles such as “Siguro” and “Patawarin Mo Ako”. She also released “Kalikasan”, an advocacy song created during her stint as Miss Philippines Earth Quezon City 2021. Her musical journey continued with “Royalty”, released last April as her first single under StarPop. Beyond music, Majarlica is also a filmmaker and actress. She starred in the short film “We Shall Not Sleep (Ligaw, Digmaan)”, further showcasing her passion for storytelling across different creative platforms.

Shawn Crab Makes Waves With New Single “Ocean”

Emerging singer-songwriter Shawn Crab channels inspiration and courage into “Ocean”, her new single aimed at encouraging fellow Gen Zs to draw strength from the people who matter most. Written by Shawn and produced by StarPop label head Roque “Rox” Santos, the uplifting love song uses the vast and mysterious ocean as a metaphor for life and its many unknowns. Through its heartfelt lyrics, “Ocean” encourages listeners to keep moving forward despite fear and uncertainty, finding courage in the love of the people who make life’s journey worth taking.

At just 17 years old, Shawn is steadily carving her own path as an artist with music that reflects her emotions, experiences, and perspective on growing up. Hailing from US, the daughter of actress-comedienne Cheena Crab moved to the Philippines to pursue her musical dreams and develop her passion for songwriting and performing. Early this year, she wrote on social media, “Why would I give up as an artist if every song I write is one step closer to my dream?” Shawn’s musical journey began when she started learning the piano at 10 years old. By 11, she had already begun writing her own songs, turning her thoughts and emotions into music. Influenced by international artists such as Billie Eilish, Frank Ocean, and Clairo, she continues to explore her own sound while using songwriting as a way to express feelings that can sometimes be difficult to put into words.

Her journey as an independent artist began in 2023 with the release of her first two singles, “This Fall, I’m Falling Hard” and “Is it too late?” She eventually joined StarPop in 2025 where she released “Love Has Come My Way”, “Labo”, and “Tago”, further introducing her artistry to Filipino music listeners. “Ocean” by Shawn Crab is now available worldwide on digital music streaming platforms under StarPop PH.
