Parents want to feel good about what their kids are watching and playing and Netflix is building a place where play, discovery and fun go hand in hand. With a growing slate of preschool and kids titles, Netflix offers families stories and characters little ones love, alongside activities designed to spark imagination, encourage curiosity and keep kids engaged in ways parents can feel great about.
That's why the global premium entertainment streaming service is expanding beloved worlds kids across the globe already love, with brand-new adventures from Gabby's Dollhouse and more Sesame Street on the way, plus fresh favorites for young audiences, from an all-new series — Puppy Pirates to even more Bad Dinosaurs. On the other hand, Netflix Playground has four new games from the kid favorite worlds of KPop Demon Hunters, Trash Truck, Numberblocks and Danny Go! "We're curating a slate of favorite-worthy series, films, and games to serve kids at every age and stage of their development. Whether that's spending more time with Gabby and her adorable sister Doozie, meeting the crew of Puppy Pirates for the first time, or growing up alongside more Sesame Street, we're building a place parents can feel good about. A place filled with great stories, beloved characters, and enriching games kids will want to come back to again and again," said Netflix Vice President for Kids + Preschool Animation Series Heather Tilert. Kids and family viewing represented 15% of Netflix's total view hours in H1 2026 and has garnered 106 billion hours since the beginning of 2023. Whether it's connecting with trusted voices like Sesame Street, Ms. Rachel, and Mark Rober's CrunchLabs, following heartfelt adventures in Trash Truck and The Creature Cases, igniting imagination with stories like Swapped, Leo and Gabby's Dollhouse, building problem-solving skills with StoryBots and the upcoming SCHOOLED!, or getting up and moving with Danny Go!, Netflix offers a lineup of films, series and games for preschoolers and kids to entertain, delight and inspire.
The Sesame Street Neighborhood Is Getting Even Bigger
For over 55 years, Sesame Street has been a beloved staple of children's storytelling, sparking curiosity, fueling imaginations, and helping children everywhere learn and grow. Netflix and Sesame Workshop have recently announced a new chapter in their collaboration, bringing families around the world more of what they love from the iconic neighborhood — including brand new episodes of the show alongside a Sesame Street feature, now in development, officially sending Elmo, Cookie Monster, and the whole neighborhood on their biggest adventure yet. In a competitive bidding situation, Netflix has secured the feature film rights to Sesame Street, and the film is currently in development with Rideback and Sesame Workshop set to produce. On the series side, the deal between Netflix and Sesame Workshop has been extended to keep delivering new seasons of the show through Season 62. While fans wait, they can enjoy all new episodes with Season 57 Volume 4 releasing on November 23, 2026 and Volumes 5 and 6 coming in 2027. These new episodes of the iconic series will be available day-and-date in the U.S. on PBS stations and streaming on PBS KIDS digital platforms, bringing critical early learning to children throughout the U.S. for free. Meanwhile, kids can now interact with their favorite Sesame Street characters on the Netflix Playground game app, bringing the entire Sesame ecosystem to Netflix across various formats: films, series, and games while Netflix has also licensed the CGI animated series Mecha Builders featuring Elmo, Cookie Monster, and Abby as robot heroes-in-training using their STEM superpowers to solve wacky, larger-than-life problems. The show will be available worldwide on Netflix starting October 26, 2026. These titles will join previously released and currently avaiable titles in the official Sesame Street collection featuring more than 100 beloved episodes and specials from the library alongside the latest Season 56 episodes, giving families even more ways to enjoy their favorite friends from Sesame Street.
The World Of Gabby's Dollhouse Expands With Doozie's Doghouse, Makers And Bakers
The magical world of Gabby's Dollhouse is expanding with two brand-new series, proving there's always room for more friends (and more glitter) in the dollhouse: Doozie's Doghouse, a mixed-media companion series from the creators of Gabby's Dollhouse itself following Doozie and her best pup Puggie through tail-wagging, woof-tastic adventures, and Gabby's Dollhouse: Makers And Bakers, a competition series hosted by Laila Lockhart Kraner (in character as Gabby!) pairs talented young baker-and-maker duos for whimsical baking and crafting challenges inspired by Gabby's world — with a surprise crossover appearance from Doozie too. A consistent Netflix favorite, Gabby's Dollhouse continues to resonate with audiences around the world. Season 14 debuted on the Netflix Global top 10 this week and seasons 1-13 have spent 12 weeks in the Netflix Global Top 10, ranked in the Top 10 across 70 countries, and accumulated more than 670 million views since 2024. Doozie's Doghouse is slated to premiere on November 9, 2026 while the Gabby's Dollhouse: Makers And Bakers holiday special will be available on December 9 with additional episodes to follow in 2027 featuring guest judges Justin Willman, Aidy Bryant, and Melissa VillseƱor.
New Adventures On The Way
Preschoolers also get a brand-new crew with Puppy Pirates, from creator Matthew Fernandes. Four heroic hounds sail the high seas fetching whatever's been lost — treasure, stuffies, you name it. On the other hand, Bad Dinosaurs, from creators Joel Veitch, Alex Mallinson and David Shute, has been renewed for seasons 2 and 3, with eight episodes each, bringing more prehistoric laughs and mischief. Bad Dinosaurs Season 1 spent five weeks in the Netflix Global Top 10 and since its debut 2024, the first season has accumulated nearly 55 million views.

Discover What's Next With Playlists, Podcasts And A New Low Stimulation Collection
Netflix also launched a low-stimulation collection, making it easier for parents to find shows and movies with slower pacing, softer visuals, and simple, predictable stories for little kids — including beloved titles like Trash Truck, Puffin Rock and Llama Llama. Also available now, two new Netflix playlists designed to make it even easier for kids and families to find their next favorite watch. The All-Star Preschool Playlist rounds up can't-miss picks for the youngest viewers while the Ultimate Kids Playlist is packed with favorites for kids ages 5-8 years old. Both are curated collections that auto-play continuous episodes — one ends and the next starts automatically — cutting down on scrolling and title-picking. Meanwhile, an all-new episode of the award-winning podcast Bedtime Stories with Netflix Jr. has been recently published, featuring a new story from The Creature Cases to help little ones relax and drift off to sleep, right on the Netflix app. With more than 19 million listens and listen hours to date across podcast platforms and Netflix Jr. YouTube, the series (which is backed by real sleep science) has become a go-to part of bedtime routines.
