No
less than Gravity Corporation chairman and CEO Yoshinori Kitamura addressed a huge
surprise announcement to the crowd during the recently concluded Electronic
Sports and Gaming Summit (ESGS) 2017, and I believe that what he announced may
benefit young and new gamers who want to learn more about what they are going
to enjoy.
It
has been a few months since Ragnarok Online returned to the Philippines last
summer in hopes that it will compete at par with the current state of the local
gaming scene and regain the trust of the MMO community. Now, those who want to
have a try at the first MMORPG that once hit our local shores by storm may not
need to download its client online as Gravity's Kitamura brings the game's most
unprecedented surprise yet - Ragnarok Journey.
Lo and behold!! This is what Ragnarok Journey would look like when it arrives in the Philippines in a few days. (Image Source: Unbox.ph) |
Ragnarok
Journey is a simpler and more exemplified version of Ragnarok Online but with
slightly better isometric 2.5D graphics. One good thing about Journey is not
only the fact that its gameplay is similar to that of the original game but
there are many reasons why you should move playing the game. One example is
that once you choose your own preferred quest, it will take you to where the
quest is being held without the need to travel. Otherwise, you may have to
consider what makes Ragnarok Journey simpler and more exemplified than the original.
Perhaps
and undeniably the best part about Ragnarok Journey is that you don't need to
download and install a Ragnarok Online game client on your PC to experience its
fun and mayhem. All you need is just a fast and stable Internet connection and
nothing else simply because Ragnarok Journey can be exclusively played on a web
browser provided that it has the right plugins for the job such as Flash Player
and such. Yup, no technical specifications are needed to get a dose of
Ragnarok.
