During the culminating concert of its National Selfie Day celebration held last November 30, 2017 at the Enchanted Kingdom, OPPO announced its partnership with Miss Possibilities which is a unique beauty pageant that not only headlines young women with special needs but also promotes its own advocacy on equal treatment.

A few days later, Jennica Garcia was recently crowned Miss Possibilities 2017 and I am impressed to say that she is a prime example of perseverance over adversity. Despite having cerebral palsy, Jennica managed to finish college with a degree in Financial Accounting and even passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET). During the pageant, contestants have received an OPPO smartphone which they will be used to capture their own precious moments even after the pageant.

Since its inception in 2015, Miss Possibilities has been a platform for families and communities with special needs to celebrate their own achievements in life. It makes pretty much sense why the likes of OPPO support what the pageant is fighting for. Aside from OPPO, it eventually earned full support from influential celebrities during a fashion show featuring pageant participants wearing French-inspired costumes.

Miss Possibilities Foundation will continue to uphold and promote its advocacy for communities with special needs through various activities that will take place throughout next year, and it is certain that OPPO will be with them every step of the way.
