On The Radar: Sin and Fairytails Can't Mix on Valentines

Two completely different Filipino movies are set to delight and surprise movie buffs and their dates on Valentine's Day as they are taking them to two different sides of love - a very interesting one that has Disney feels all over it and one that is full of a lot of affairs. For this edition of On The Radar, it is better to understand what these two are all about through actions better than words since it is all in the teasers.

My Fairy Tail Love Story (Regal Films)

Directed by Percy Intalan, My Fairy Tail Love Story is an unconventional fairy tale romance story about a spoiled brat Chantel (Janella Salvador) who has been turned into a mermaid after disturbing a coral formation under the sea. She tries to break the curse with the help of her bestfriend Noah (Elmo Magalona) only to realize that only a true love's kiss is the answer.

Sin Island (Star Cinema)

I have seen small teasers of the movie on television that chronicles the main characters, but the recently-released full trailer will give you reasons why Sin Island is the one to watch out for as the story revolves around the more dangerous side of love. The newest affair flick directed by Gino M. Santos stars Xian Lim, Coleen Garcia and Nathalie Hart and is set to give steamy flicks a whole different meaning to the surprise of young adults today.
