From thousands hailing from different parts of the archipelago, five feisty
and impressive females remain on the cusp of fulfilling their own dreams of
being a professional singer as only one will have the chance to become the
grand winner of the popularly untelevised singing competition known as
Wishcovery.
In case you don't know about or missed it, Wishcovery is a weekly online reality singing competition which was launched by no less than Wish 107.5 FM and airs every Saturday at 9:00 pm on the radio station's official YouTube channel with Kris Lawrence as the show's host. With the grand finals on the horizon, it is time to give you a short rundown on the Wishful 5 who will compete in the final showdown.
Carmela Ariola of Batangas has been keen in singing, songwriting and
playing different musical instruments since her natural talent was discovered
by her parents when she was three years old. The same goes to Kimberly Baluzo
of Daet, Camarines Norte who is currently in senior high school.
Meanwhile, Cavite's Hazel Bartolome is the only musically-inclined
member of her family considering that she is a band vocalist. Hazel promises to
make a great representation in the LGBT community in the Wishcovery grand finals.
Louise Anne Culala of Bulacan was given encouragement from her friends and
family to sing. Not to be left behind in the final showdown is Princess
Sevillena who has also been given the same encouragement from friends and
family.
Throughout the competition, these five finalists were under the
watchful eye of Jay-R, Teacher Annie Quintos of The Company and veteran
composer/songwriter Jungee Marcelo and their efforts to make it this far would
not be possible without the power of binge-watching. Anyway, the Wishcovery
Grand Finals will take place at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on March 27, 2018 at
7:00 pm and is set to be aired on Wish 107.5's official YouTube channel.
