the Philippines, has officially launched its newest pay TV channel that sets to
elevate any modern Filipino's lifestyle - Metro Channel. Formerly known as
Lifestyle Network and made to be the television counterpart of the premier
lifestyle brand Metro, the new channel features fresh and original programming
headlined by some of the country's finest lifestyle icons and purveyors.
Metro Channel will continue to showcase amazing culinary dishes from
the likes of Sandy Daza (Casa Daza) and Claude Tayag (Chasing Flavors) while
bringing in and introducing the likes of Miss Universe 2015 Pia Alonzo
Wurtzbach, Tim Yap, Tricia Centenera, Joey Mead King, Marc Nelson, Maggie Wilson-Consunji,
Chef JP Anglo, and Metro editor-in-chief Raul Manzano to Filipino viewers as
hosts of uniquely curated programs that covers fashion, beauty, food, travel and
leisure, and even arts and culture.
These programs which are currently airing on Metro include Pia's
Postcards, Beached, In The Metro, Women In Style, At The Table and Driven among
others that showcase the finest Filipino lifestyle trends. Lifestyle
aficionados can also enjoy Metro's mix of foreign shows bearing the same
spotlight on modern lifestyle developments around the world such as The Art
Show, Ayesha's Home Kitchen, The Real Houses of..., America's Next Top Model,
and so much more.
With the right sleuth of locally-produced originals and curated
programming from across the globe, Metro Channel will surely elevate your own
life beyond what you want to expect. With that in mind, Metro Channel can be
viewed in either standard definition on Skycable channel 52 (Metro Manila, CAMANAVA/Rizal, Cavite, Laguna, Bulacan, Lipa City) and Sky Direct channel 31 nationwide or in
HD on Skycable channel 174 (Metro Manila, CAMANAVA/Rizal, Cavite, Laguna, Bulacan, Lipa City).
