In 1987, Japanese video game developer released a unique fighting game named Street Fighter that literally became a hit in the arcades due to its highly-intriguing style of gameplay. About four years later, it was Street Fighter II: The World Warrior that made the gaming world fall in love with the series and the name Street Fighter would eventually go on to become one of the most popular and well-loved franchises in the history of video games. Now, young and old players alike can relive and experience one part of their childhood gaming memories with a new compilation for PC and next-gen consoles.

Published by Capcom and developed by Digital Eclipse Software, Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection is a compilation that spans thirty long years of the Street Fighter franchise that introduced many gamers around the world to the fighting game genre. Now out on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC, old and new fans of Street Fighter and the fighting game genre can now enjoy what makes Street Fighter a force to be reckoned with in the annals of video game history with their friends and loved ones.

The new compilation features twelve games that represent three respective generations of the well-loved Street Fighter franchise. These include the 1987 original Street Fighter, five iterations of Street Fighter II (The World Warrior, Champion Edition, Turbo: Hyper Fighting, Super and Super Turbo), the Street Fighter Alpha series and the Street Fighter III trilogy. One interesting feature that would satisfy anyone's indulgement for Street Fighter action is that gamers can perform save states regardless of what they are playing so they can try again from where they pick up.

Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection can also support online multiplayer for those playing Street Fighter II Turbo: Hyper Fighting, Super Street Fighter II Turbo, Street Fighter Alpha 3 and Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike. On the other hand, the Nintendo Switch version includes an eight-player tournament battle on Super Street Fighter II: The New Challengers which even allows support up to four consoles or literally eight JoyCons. With that in mind, it is best for me to believe that Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection is one exciting classic compilation that can be both enjoyable and satisfying for fighting game lovers of all ages.
