More
people are getting into the ongoing selfie craze as they are starting to take pictures
of themselves and/or their friends and loved ones using their smartphones and
share them online via social media. But, always keep in mind that there are
certain risks in taking selfies; otherwise, our carelessness in doing it could
cause serious consequences. One case in particular is that a selfie could cost
one's life.
This
could probably be considered as an act of suicide from anyone's perspective,
but it isn't considering that one is bound to commit suicide whenever he or she
can't take the pressure and the stress. However, it looks like this kind of
suicide is beginning to become a concern in today's modern world. More than 280
people around the world have unexpectedly committed suicide during and after
taking a selfie based on recent studies, and most of these cases are probably due
to their negligence.
If
you don't want yourself to be in the list of people who have taken a selfie and
their own lives, then you should think of saying NO to selfie suicide and began
exploring other options on how to share your own precious moments to friends
and loved ones online. But if you are still keen on taking a selfie as a precious
moment, then I would suggest you to try and find an essential spot where you
can take a photo using your phone's camera. If you're on higher ground like on a
condominium or a mountain, don't take this seriously and think about the
consequences before doing it.
