It has only been a few weeks since the Sony PlayStation Classic was
officially introduced which has delighted retro gaming enthusiasts and fans of
the original PlayStation console from around the world and eventually made them
feel ecstatic about its impending arrival. Now, Sony Interactive Entertainment
has revealed a full lineup of games that will be included in the retro-centric
gaming system prior to its December release.
Tekken 7, Final Fantasy VII, R4: Ridge Racer Type 4, Wild Arms and
Jumping Flash! were the first to be part of the PlayStation Classics 20-game lineup
during the system's announcement. Joining them are Battle Arena Toshinden,
Intelligent Qube, Metal Gear Solid, Mr. Driller, Revelations: Persona, Resident
Evil: Director's Cut and Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo. These games will be
common in the North American and European variations of the console as well as
its Japanese variation.
North American and European PlayStation Classic owners can get their
hands full on playing the likes of Cool Boarders 2, Destruction Derby, Grand
Theft Auto, Oddworld: Abe's Odyssey, Rayman, Syphon Filter, Tom Clancy's
Rainbow Six and Twisted Metal. On the other hand, Japanese gamers will be treated
to a more exciting bevy of exclusive games featuring Arc The Lad I and II,
Armored Core, G-Darius, Gradius Gaiden, Parasite Eve, Xi (officially known in
NA/PAL as Devil Dice) and SaGa Frontier.
