Customers in the province of Batangas can expect faster speeds and improved

accelerates its latest round of upgrades in one of the biggest and most
populous provinces in the Philippines. After expanding the coverage and increasing

stations, Smart is also set to add new sites to address these needs which will
be stationed in major roads and highways including the Southern Tagalog
Arterial Road, public places as points of convergence such as schools, government
offices and public markets, industrial areas and even tourism sites and
accredited beach resorts.
PLDT-Smart is also increasing LTE coverage and capacity in Lipa City
and Batangas City which is home to the country's busiest port. Considering that
more customers in one of Southern Luzon's most populous provinces are using
smartphones and mobile data, these network improvement and enhancement efforts
are part of PLDT-Smart's nationwide push to upgrade its fixed and mobile
