Online shopping continues to become a norm for many Filipinos especially those who are in the millennial generation. However, most still prefer to spend their time with their loved ones shopping, dining and having fun inside a shopping mall. Since its inception in the mid-80s, shopping malls have become places where Filipino families and barkadas spend their time the most and remain resilient amidst today's modern trends and innovations.

SM Supermalls, the first and the largest shopping mall chain in the Philippines, has been keen in delivering everything that satisfies and delights Filipino mallgoers through the years as stated in its longtime monicker "They Got It All For You" considering that it is the first that brought the shopping mall phenomenon to the country since the opening of SM City North EDSA back in 1985. Now, in partnership with the Department of Tourism (DOT), SM has a new slogan for the continuing shopping mall phenomenon - "Malling Is More Fun In The Philippines".

Officially launched last May 17, 2019 at the SM Fashion Trade Hall inside SM Megamall, SM Supermalls' "Malling Is More Fun In The Philippines" campaign aims to inform more Filipinos on why they should enjoy their own time with their loved ones inside a shopping mall and what makes it an enjoyable modern-day destination to chill and hang out. Its more than 60 SM malls in different parts of the country will provide a sleuth of engaging activities and promotions that every Filipino mallgoer should enjoy and take advantage of while making time enjoying and shopping inside a mall with his or her loved ones and it kicked off with a humbling food feast around some of its shopping centers.

For more information about the "Malling Is More Fun In The Philippines" campaign and schedule of activities on any SM mall in your area, visit SM Supermalls' official website at www.smsupermalls.com.ph.

Filipinos who are starting their own bank accounts are usually required to submit the necessary requirements and deposit initial funds to make their account work, but it seems that one company operating in the Philippines is off to change the way we think about opening our own bank account.

ING (Internationale Nederladen Groep) Bank, which has been in the Philippines since 1990, officially introduced itself as the first fully digital retail bank in the country. The first all-digital savings bank in the country features high-interest rates with no maintaining balance needed or transaction fees required. It also comes with instant money transfer via Instapay of up to Php500,000 as mandated by the PDIC, mobile check deposit where you can only take a photo of the check and 24/7 customer service.

Just download and install the ING Philippines mobile app on your smartphone from Google Play and iOS App Store and open your own account with no minimum deposit required. All you need is a scanned photocopy of any one valid ID and facial recognition for verification. These in mind should make banking more convenient and more intriguing to try even in the comforts of home.
