ABS-CBN Corporation, the premiere media and entertainment company in
the Philippines, brings the highly-anticipated return of eight-time Filipino world
boxing champion Senator Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao in the boxing ring
against the current World Boxing Association (WBA) super welterweight champion
Keith Thurman on July 21st (Manila time) to a wider nationwide viewing audience on its broadcast and digital platforms.
As the official fight broadcaster, ABS-CBN will air the fight emanating
from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA via satellite
starting at 10 am with an immediate replay on S+A at 3 pm. Filipinos can catch the
fight live with no commercial interruptions and in high definition on Sky Sports
PPV on Skycable and Sky Direct. On the other hand, fight fans can also follow the
blow-by-blow coverage on DZMM Radyo Patrol 630 with seasoned sports anchor Dyan
Castillejo and respected boxing analyst Quinito Henson. Furthermore, the
Pacquiao-Thurman fight will be available on ABS-CBN's online streaming service
iWant starting July 22.
Fresh from his decisive victories over formidable opponents such as
Adrian Broner last January 2019 and Lucas Matthyse in 2018, the current WBA welterweight
champion with a record of 61 wins (39 by knockout), 7 losses and 2 draws is out
to prove to the world that he can still fight despite being 40 years old and
amidst his continued success as he makes his return to the boxing ring.
Meanwhile, the undefeated Thurman with a record of 30 wins (22 by knockout) and
no losses is putting his unblemished streak on the line for the first time for
two years and looks to make Pacquiao retire from the sport which would
eventually motivate the Filipino fighting pride for the upcoming encounter.
Don't miss ABS-CBN's exclusive coverage of the Pacquiao-Thurman
