Almost a month after the opening of its first standalone franchised
store at SLEX Calamba prior to the opening of the new school year, Miniso
Philippines opened its 81st branch in the country and the fourth in the
province of Batangas last June 28, 2019 at the second floor of SM City Lipa.
Its opening did not disappoint hundreds of customers from the city and nearby
towns to check out and shop the Japanese fashion brand's wide variety of items
and accessories that cater to their style.
The opening of Miniso in SM City Lipa was headlined by a toast of sake (traditional Japanese rice wine) led
by Miniso Philippines executives Nelson Tumbaga (operations manager), Shirlene
Sy (merchandising manager) and Andrew Ybarbolazo (senior marketing manager).
Gracing the ceremony were SM Supermalls South Luzon Regional Operations Manager
Juan Marius Cortes, SM City Lipa mall managers John Mauhay and Karen Cunanan,
and SM City Lipa leasing managers Winnie Constantino and Lariza Pagtananan.
What can customers expect from Miniso now that it has landed in the City
For All Seasons, especially children and students in all four corners of the city?
Well, they can enjoy the brand's wide selection of creative and low-priced
products ranging from Creative Home Necessities, Health and Beauty, Fashion
Accessories, Stylistic Gifts, Office Supplies, Stationery Gifts, Seasonal
Products, Boutique Package Decoration, Digital Accessories and Food and Drink.
And since class is back in session for the new school year, Miniso is offering
creative and affordable school supplies featuring some of their favorite Cartoon
Network characters such as We Bare Bears inspired notebooks, colourful pens and
notepads as well as Adventure Time inspired back packs and pencil cases.
I managed to step inside Miniso SM Lipa for the first time on the last
day of June and checked out what is offered there and I am surprised at what I
have seen - from uniquely intriguing fruit drinks to We Bare Bears inspired
powerbanks and even a whole line of digital accessories that would surely suit
your style and even your pockets. I can't tell you how the prices of these
items fare compared to those offered in other Japanese brands existing in Lipa
City, but all I can say is that it is best to try it out before you make the
choice of owning it.
Don't expect me to remind you of what Miniso is all about in case you
want to know more about it since I've already mentioned a brief knowledge about
the brand in my previous article regarding the opening of its first standalone franchised store in the Philippines. Just follow Miniso Philippines on Facebook and Instagram
for updates on incoming deals and new items and visit it at the second floor of
SM City Lipa beside Zark's Burgers for some browsing and shopping.
