Since its inception in 2005, Cinema One Originals has been showcasing the originality and creativity of Filipino filmmakers through original films that provide a unique experience to those who have been used to watching in cinemas, young and old alike. For 15 years, C1 Originals became an avenue for new and veteran filmmakers to helm, produce and release their own masterpieces that are at par with those coming from other renouned local film festivals.

This year's edition will be no different as it features a bold and colorful mix of new original Filipino flicks that are set to serve a uniquely intriguing taste to moviegoers. Four new directors, three who have been previously participating in the C1 Originals and a first-time filmmaker were given a budget of Php3 million each to produce their own film. Regardless of their genre and concept, one thing for certain is that each movie has a different story to tell much like before but beyond what we can expect.
