SM City Lipa, the Lifestyle Mall of the South, officially welcomes the
Year of the Rat with the latest additions to its wide variety of local and
international dining options which have opened its doors prior to the new year.
These include Paper Moon, Wing Zone and Macao Imperial Tea offering their own
brand of servings and options that are sure to delight mallgoers and shoppers
alike whenever they get hungry or need to be refreshed.
Situated at the ground floor of the mall's annex building, Paper Moon
is a popular dessert cafe originated in Tokyo, Japan and acclaimed to serve the
exquisite cake creations of Madame Kazuko Emy Wada, Japan's Grand Dame of Specialty
Cakes, including the popular and intriguing Mille Creppe. A cake slicing
ceremony headlined its grand opening which was surprisingly graced by no less
than Lipa City Mayor Eric B. Africa of all people. Beside Paper Moon is Wing
Zone, an American restaurant based in Atlanta that specializes in deep-fried
food products, including its buffalo wings. Both Paper Moon and Wing Zone are
owned and operated by VIVA Foods Inc., which also happens to helm Japanese fine
dining restaurant Botejyu that has an SM City Lipa branch.

On the other hand, the milk tea craze in Lipa City is becoming crazier
than usual with the opening of Macao Imperial Tea. Owned and operated by JDT
Foods, the SM City Lipa branch offers a variety of drinks and desserts that can
satisfy both tea and coffee lovers. Furthermore, it is also famous for its
Cream Cheese Milk Tea which is literally a stand out among other flavors
available. With this in mind, anyone can jot up Macao Imperial as the newest
addition to a surge of milk tea options sprawling across different parts of the
city, most particularly downtown, and it will be a difficult time for milk tea
lovers to choose where they think has the best to serve the finest milk tea possible
within all corners of the city.
Anyway, the addition of these new international flavors inside a major
shopping mall is considered to be a big boost in the city's potential to be a
lifestyle hub in Southern Luzon in the foreseeable future although it will take
more than opening new stores to make it all possible. The City For All Seasons
continues to progress and make its own strides as it enters a new year of peace,
hope and more love for its people and newfound identity.
