Filipinos in and out of the country are now coming together to help families in Metro Manila affected by the enhanced community quarantine with donations and pledges to ABS-CBN's "Pantawid Ng Pag-ibig" fundraising campaign which reached Php256,663,658 as of 12 noon of March 23rd. Following the initial Php100 million donation from the Lopez Group of Companies, individuals and groups from across the globe have been placing their trust and support on the network's drive in partnership with private companies and local government units to provide poor families in the Metro with food and basic necessities.

This includes the Php100 million pledge of Project Ugnayan, a collaboration of the top 20 business groups in the Philippines that aims to raise funds in support of various initiatives for the benefit of thousands of poor families. These groups include the following (in alphabetical order): Aboitiz Group, ABS-CBN/Lopez Group Of Companies, Alliance Global, AY Foundation/RCBC, Ayala Corporation, Bench and Liway Group, Caritas Manila, Century Pacific, Concepcion Industrial Corporation, DMCI, ICTSI, Jollibee, Leonio Group, Metrobank/GT Capital, Nutri Asia, PDRF, PLDT/Metro Pacific Investments Corporation, Puregold, San Miguel Corporation and SM/BDO. ABS-CBN is thankful to all the donors for their generosity and ensures that their donations will reach our kababayans with the help of partner groups and local government units.

Millions of donation began to pour in at the "Pantawid Ng Pag-ibig" At Home Together Concert on the night of March 22nd (Sunday) where more than 100 Kapamilya stars and artists performed from their own homes, shared words of support and encouragement for our frontliners and urge fellow Filipinos to help the less-fortunate Kapamilyas affected by #LuzonLockdown. The digital fund-raising concert was streamed on iWant, TFC.tv (for viewers outside the Philippines) and the official Facebook and YouTube pages of ABS-CBN and aired live on ABS-CBN, S+A, ANC (ABS-CBN News Channel), DZMM Teleradyo, DZMM Radyo Patrol 630, MOR 101.9 and MOR FM radio stations nationwide, Jeepney TV, Asianovela Channel, Metro Channel and The Filipino Channel (TFC) for viewers abroad.

The funds raised through ABS-CBN's "Pantawid Ng Pag-ibig" campaign will be used to purchase food and basic daily needs of families with family members who are unable to work or continue their livelihood because of the enhanced community quarantine due to the threat of the COVID-19 worldwide pandemic in the Philippines. The items needed include rice, canned goods, noodles, biscuits, milk, coffee, shampoo, soap, detergent and vitamins among others. Distribution of relief packages already began last week with 17 Metro Manila mayors taking the lead in preparing and delivering them to families in need. With more help coming in from both public and private sectors as well as the continued trust and cooperation of local government officials, ABS-CBN hopes to extend the campaign to areas beyond Metro Manila where many other Filipinos are also in need of help.

Those who wish to help can make a pledge or cash donation to ABS-CBN's "Pantawid Ng Pag-ibig" campaign through the following bank accounts of ABS-CBN Lingkod Kapamilya Foundation's Sagip Kapamilya: BPI peso account 3051-11-55-88, Metrobank peso account 636-3-636-08808-1, BDO peso account 0039301-14199, PNB peso account 1263-7000-4128, BDO dollar account 1039300-81622.
