While most of the Philippines remains threatened by the COVID-19 worldwide pandemic, millions of Filipinos who were urged by the government to stay at home for their own safety and well-being were able to spend their own time watching videos online on their PCs and smartphones whether they are alone or with their loved ones. Though they miss watching the action of their favorite athletes and sporting events for a while due to the pandemic, they often find themselves discovering more than just sports from no less than the athletes themselves.

One case in point is "Kalye Confessions", a new segment to enjoy on ABS-CBN S+A's flagship daily sports news program The Score, where volleyball stars step out of the comfort zone and have a deep and unusual conversation about playing the game and anything about life. Taking some inspiration from The Score's other segment "Extra Rice With Beau Belga", "Kalye Confessions" is hosted by Petro Gazz Angels middle blocker Cherry Nunag who has a charming and relatable personality as well as the natural ability to make her guests relaxed even if she asks the tough questions. Its first two episodes featuring volleyball superstars Alyssa Valdez and Risa Sato are already available on the official Facebook and YouTube pages of ABS-CBN Sports, the sports arm of the Philippines' premiere media and entertainment company, and has already gained thousands of views online and still counting.

In the first episode, Cherry drives around with UAAP legend and Creamline Cool Smashers player Alyssa Valdez who shares the stories behind the iconic final walk and her volleyball stint. She also reveals the fellow players that she idolize and even opens up about her lovelife with boyfriend and fellow UAAP Phenom/Legend Kiefer Ravena. The second episode sees Cherry having her nemesis on the net, Creamline Cool Smashers middle blocker Risa Sato, sitting beside her while driving. The Filipino-Japanese stunner talks about the struggles she had to face because of the language barrier, especially after becoming the new team captain of the National University (NU) Lady Bulldogs. She also reveals the Filipino food she has grown to love since moving to the Philippines at 19 years old.

Cherry follows the footsteps of fellow athletes such as Alyssa Valdez, Michelle Gumabao, Gretchen Ho and Beau Belga among others who have started their careers on the court but are eventually welcomed by ABS-CBN Sports as hosts and analysts in which they are able to step out of their comfort zone and find success outside the courts. She may not be able to take another celebrity athlete out on a drive because of the enhanced community quarantine imposed over Metro Manila and Luzon due to the threat of the COVID-19 pandemic in the Philippines, but fans of the segment can look forward to the Stay At Home edition of "Kalye Confessions" where Cherry continues to talk and have fun with fellow athletes from their own homes via video chat.

Volleyball and other sports fans can enjoy "Kalye Confessions" and a wealth of content featuring full games, full game highlights, interviews and features on the official Facebook and YouTube pages of ABS-CBN Sports and iWant. Meanwhile, they can also indulge on the best games from various sporting tournaments and events and past episodes of The Score on S+A and S+A HD (SKYcable channel 166, SKYdirect channel 23).
