Through the Paymaya Negosyo app initially available for free on Android devices from Google Play, MSME (micro, small and medium enterprise) owners can now easily accept and receive QR and other forms of digital payments through their smartphones. Even without their own e-Commerce website, Paymaya Negosyo app users can accept payments from Paymaya users via Paymaya QR which can be shared on their social media pages and chat apps, receive payments from upgraded Paymaya users through the app's Send Money function, and process bank transfer payments from Instapay-participating banks and e-wallets in the Philippines.
Interested merchants and small business owners only need to sign up through the app using their mobile number, upload one valid government ID as well as a video selfie for liveliness check, and wait for 24-48 hours for their application to be reviewed and approved before they can start accept digital payments right away. Through the Paymaya Negosyo app, merchants will now have the fastest and most convenient way to accept contactless payments from customers whether they are Paymaya users or holders of other banks and e-wallet providers. Once the payments are received in their Paymaya Negosyo wallet, merchants can eventually transfer these amounts to their respective bank accounts via Instapay. Compared with Paymaya consumer accounts that have a Php100,000 account limit for upgraded users, Paymaya Negosyo app users will have an account limit of Php250,000.
