The Hygiene Ambassadors will monitor and guide dine-in customers in following the government-mandated safety measures such as undergoing temperature check before entry, proper wearing of face masks, filling out health declaration forms, stepping onto the disinfection mat before entry and observing physical distancing inside the store. Aside from these measures, the Jollibee Group has also limited the number of people allowed inside the store at a time based on the seating capacity prescribed by the dine-in safety protocols of the DTI and the Inter-Agency Task Force Against Emerging Diseases (IATF).
For employees in each store, they are provided with personal protective equipment (PPE) and free health supplements to help keep them healthy while on duty. Store teams need to have their temperature checks taken before, during and after duty; wash their hands every hour; and sanitize their hands every 30 minutes and even before and after handling food. Apart from further tightening safety standards for food preparation and handling, the Jollibee Group has also intensified its sanitation protocols such as cleaning and sanitizing its stores every 30 minutes especially high-touch objects such as doors, door handles and fixtures. Handwashing areas and sanitizers are also being made available for customers. Jollibee Group's Hygiene Ambassadors also help ensure that these health and safety protocols are properly executed.
Stores of the Jollibee Group brands have visual cues in place in order to maintain physical distancing when queuing and marked tables that are not available for use. Stores also implement no-touch transactions by setting up cash containers on counters where customers can put their money when paying for their orders whether for dine-in in-store, delivery or drive-thru. Customers can also pay for their orders using the HappyPlus card, Paymaya and debit/credit cards.
