January 24, 2021 will be remembered forever as a significant and momentous milestone in the history of Philippine television as ABS-CBN's ASAP Natin 'To, the longest running Sunday musical variety show in the local television scene, aired on TV5 as the latest platform aside from Kapamilya Channel, Jeepney TV, Kapamilya Online Live, A2Z, iWantTFC and The Filipino Channel (TFC) that will enable more Filipinos nationwide and around the world to enjoy the best world-class concert experience on television. The show's simulcast airing would eventually become a top trending topic on social media with more than hundreds of thousands awed, overwhelmed and delighted literally in tears talking about it.
This historic airing was made possible through what is highly regarded as a miraculous and remarkable collaboration between two of the largest major Philippine television networks in the country. ASAP's maiden simulcast airing on TV5 featured some of the well-loved, highly-respected and most sought-after talents and artists in the local entertainment industry led by Gary Valenciano, Martin Nievera, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Erik Santos, Ogie Alcasid, Regine Velasquez-Alcasid, Jed Madela, Vice Ganda, Kim Chiu, and The Gold Squad among the Kapamilya network's ensemble of stars and hosts as well as its newest Kapamilya star Janine Gutierrez. Social media exploded throughout the show with different hashtags created by its hosts and guests, while several TV5 officials and personalities have happily promoted the network's debut airing of the show online.
