GMA Network Inc., the largest broadcasting network in the Philippines, offers a beacon of new hope in 2021 as it ushers in the New Year with a stellar roster of exciting new programs. This was announced during Countdown To 2021: The GMA New Year's Celebration Special aired on the night of New Year's Eve, December 31, 2020.
Kickstarting the lineup for GMA's Afternoon Prime is the return of the high-rating soap "Magkaagaw" topbilled by Sunshine Dizon, Klea Pineda, Jeric Gonzales and Sheryl Cruz with a recap and fresh new episodes to ring in the New Year as well as those of "Bilangin Ang Bituin Sa Langit" featuring Ms. Nora Aunor, Mylene Dizon, Isabel Rivas, Zoren Legazpi, Kyline Alcantara and Yasser Marta. Next is the heart-tugging story of "Babawiin Ko Ang Lahat" starring John Estrada, Carmina Villaroel-Legazpi and Pauline Mendoza in her first lead role as a Kapuso drama actress as well as the return of the well-loved tandem of Ken Chan and Rita Daniela in the small screens via "Ang Dalawang Ikaw" which will be joined by Kapuso newcomer Ana Vicente.
Also set to launch on the network's weekday afternoon block in the coming months are the Philippine TV adaptation of the 1988 award-winning film "Nagbabagang Luha" starring Glaiza De Castro, Rayver Cruz, Claire Castro and Mike Tan; the riveting legal drama "Artikulo 247"; the multi-layered sibling rivalry of "Las Hermanas"; the weekly drama series "Love Connections" which tells the stories behind intriguing social media posts; and the story of a little person who one day discovers she is a heiress despite growing up in a poor family in "Little Princess".
On GMA Telebabad, the rivalry between best friends turned mortal enemies continues with a recap and fresh episodes of "Anak Ni Waray vs. Anak Ni Biday" starring Barbie Forteza, Kate Valdez, Migo Adecer, Snooky Serna, Dina Bonnevie and Jay Manalo. Viewers also can't wait for "First Yaya" headlined by Gabby Concepcion, Sanya Lopez, Pancho Magno, Maxine Medina, Pilar Pilapil, Cassy Legazpi, and JD Domagoso; the breakthrough cultural drama series "Legal Wives" topbilled by Dennis Trillo, Alice Dixson, Andrea Torres, Bianca Umali and Cherie Gil; GMA Public Affairs' romantic comedy series "Owe My Love" featuring Benjamin Alves and Lovi Poe and action-adventure series "Lolong" starring Ruru Madrid, Arra San Agustin, and Shaira Diaz; the Queen of Creative Collaborations Heart Evangelista-Escudero in "I Left My Heart In Sorsogon"; and the return of GMA Network's one-of-a-kind drama anthology series "I Can See You".
Other upcoming soaps to look forward to on GMA Telebabad are "To Have And To Hold", "World Between Us", "Love. Die. Repeat", and "The Witness". GMA Network's weekend programming lineup for the New Year is headlined by three anticipated returns: Senator Ramon "Bong" Revilla Jr. in "Alamat Ng Agila", The Clash for its fourth season and the quest for the next kiddie singing sensation "Centerstage" hosted by Asia's Multimedia Star Alden Richards with Betong Sumaya. Joining the slate of upcoming weekend programs are "Catch Me Out Philippines" hosted by Jose Manalo with Kakai Bautista and Derrick Monasterio and the newly innovative singing competition "Sing For Hearts". But the stellar lineup of what to watch and look forward to in 2021 doesn't stop there as viewers will soon be treated to a sleuth of program offerings from GMA News TV which includes the channel's first locally produced primetime drama series "The Lost Recipe" starring Kelvin Miranda and Mikee Quintos, the weekend primetime variety show for the millennial generation "Flex", "My Fantastic Pag-Ibig", "Heartful Cafe" starring Asia's Pop Diva Julie Ann San Jose with David Licauco and Andre Paras, the romance-mystery mini-series "Love Me Stranger" featuring the real-life Kapuso millennial couple of Gabbi Garcia and Khalil Ramos, and comedy game show "Game Of The Gens" hosted by Andre Paras and Sef Cadayona with the GenDolls.

GMA Network further elevates Filipinos' television viewing experience with the launch of its newest offering, the GMA Now mobile digital TV receiver which can be plugged into an Android smartphone and allows viewers to watch TV on the go for free and enjoy a bunch of interactive features at the same time. The Kapuso network has also extended its delivery of Serbisyong Totoo to more Filipino learners across the country as it provides DepEd TV, a digital free TV channel for the Department of Education's blended learning program for the new school year, to users of GMA Affordabox and other digital TV boxes.
