The National Basketball Association (NBA) and local telecommunications and digital services provider Smart Communications relaunched the NBA Philippines website which is the league's official digital destination in the country. The relaunch of NBA.com/Philippines builds on the existing Smart-NBA partnership that provides Smart prepaid, postpaid and mobile broadband subscribers access to NBA League Pass, the league's premium live and on-demand game subscription service, and NBA.Smart, the over-the-top service that live streams NBA TV Philippines which is a localized version of the league's dedicated 24/7 channel.
The relaunched online destination for everything NBA will offer Filipino fans access to game highlights, stats, standings, scores, schedules and more. In addition, NBA.com/Philippines will also feature localized content including recaps and analysis from its roster of sports reporters and basketball personalities as well as a weekly podcast entitled "NBA Hype Squad" featuring discussions on the latest NBA news hosted by local influencers.Smart prepaid and postpaid users can access editorial content on the NBA Philippines website for free without incurring data charges.

Smart users can watch the 2020-2021 NBA season by subscribing to NBA League Pass which is offered in monthly (Php485) and 3-Game Package (Php85) subscriptions. The league's premium subscription service provides the most comprehensive live and on-demand access to an entire season of NBA games with live stats and additional camera angles including NBA Mobile View which delivers a clearer shot of the action optimized for viewing on mobile devices. On the other hand, Smart prepaid subscribers can watch NBA TV Philippines via NBA.Smart by subscribing to the telco's available data packages. All they need to do is to dial *123# on their smartphone, choosing GIGA VIDEO 99 (2 GB of open access data + 1 GB per day for video streaming on NBA League Pass, YouTube and Cignal Play; valid for seven days), and registering their mobile and ticket number on NBA.Smart.
