Preparations are now underway for its upcoming 15th year anniversary celebration as ABS-CBN's flagship daily noontime variety show "It's Showtime" officially announces the five teams participating in the highly-anticipated Magpasikat 2024 which is set to be held on October 21-26, 2024. An annual major highlight of the show's anniversary, Magpasikat pits the show's hosts divided into five groups competing for fun and charity with a week-long showcase of their grand performances. Ahead of the announcement of the Magpasikat 2024 teams, It's Showtime also celebrates the eighth year anniversary of the flagship online daily noontime show Showtime Online U with a major performance by its current roster of hosts featuring hit songs of BTS, SB19 and BINI opening the show's August 19, 2024 episode.

In addition, Magpasikat 2024 will mark the first Magpasikat appearance and performance of Darren who is the latest addition to It's Showtime's slate of regular hosts since its premiere episode on GMA-7 last April 6, 2024.
