ABS-CBN, Sports Vision Seal Deal for Rebranded V-League

ABS-CBN Sports, the sports division of the premiere media and entertainment company in the Philippines, and Sports Vision Management Group Inc. (SVMGI) has formally sealed a deal on their renewed partnership for the fourteenth season of the Premier Volleyball League, which will be the new name of the country's longest-running commercial volleyball league upon the start of the new season.

The rebranding, which will kick off on April 30, 2017 with the Reinforced Conference, will still feature the highly-filled intense action from some of the best and finest volleyball players in the country. Spearheading the contract signing for the new league are Sports Vision chairman Ricky Palou, Sports Vision president Moying Martelino, ABS-CBN S+A channel head Vince Rodriguez, and ABS-CBN Sports finance head Berg Capiz.

According to Sports Vision chairman Ricky Palou, there will be six teams competing in the Reinforced Conference which include foreign players followed by an All-Filipino Conference and will be culminated with the Collegiate Conference to be held within the end of the year. Meanwhile, Rodriguez teased a feature that will experienced by Filipino sports enthusiasts in the channel's coverage of the PVL, and that would be multi-cam live streaming.
