The Electronic Sports and Gaming Summit (ESGS) 2017 is just a few weeks away and Filipino gaming addicts and enthusiasts are thrilled to try out the latest games that will be showcased in the long weekend affair. Not only that, they also feel curious and ecstatic about what will be transpiring in one of the biggest gaming events in Asia. But let's focus on which games will show up.

Prior to the upcoming summit, event organizer Gariath Concepts has been making announcements on social media regarding what to expect in the summit including Brawlfest and Indie Arena, and these include some of the current and upcoming games that are set to delight guests and visitors during the gaming summit.

With that in mind, here are five games that will make their presence in the 2017 edition.

1. Just Dance 2018

Last year, Ubisoft disappointingly opened its booth for those who want to know the latest job openings for its Philippine branch as well as its partnership with De La Salle University for the ladder's game development course. This year, the company rebounded as it is bound to showcase the newest installment of the popular Just Dance franchise. Here's what the game offers when you try it out.

2. Monster Hunter World

Capcom makes its return to ESGS 2017 with Monster Hunter World, the newest installment in the intriguing Monster World series which will become available early next year for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and even the PC.

3. Garrison: Archangel

A few months ago, I featured the multiplayer mech action strategy game from Indigo Entertainment in one of my articles. Now, those who have read the said article can have the chance to try it before it becomes available for the PC via Steam next year.

4. Heroes Evolved

Mobile games are not to be left out in the gamers' affair as ESGS 2017 is set to showcase Heroes Evolved, which has been regarded as one of the numerous Mobile Legends clones available on their mobile devices. Luckily, there are features that makes Heroes Evolved different from Mobile Legends. And to prove my point, watch all about it here.

5. Everwing

This vertical shooter game that was initially available on Facebook is the biggest surprise hit for Filipino gamers in 2017 much like last year's Pokemon Go. Now that it is bound to be showcased at ESGS 2017, gaming enthusiasts will find out how the underwhelming mobile sensation becomes a rising attraction for Filipinos on Facebook Messenger.

More games are assured to be announced via social media, so keep updated on more updates and announcements regarding who and what will show up at ESGS 2017. But if you're satisfied on what will happen, then purchase your tickets now at SM Tickets and let your own good times rolling.

The Electronic Sports and Gaming Summit (ESGS) 2017 will take place at the SMX Convention Center, SM Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City on October 27-29, 2017. Follow ESGS 2017 on social media for more details.
