ON THE RADAR, ENTERTAINMENT | April 25, 2018
ABS-CBN Corporation, the premiere media and entertainment company in the
Philippines, has been keen in providing world-class quality Filipino
entertainment that delight millions of viewing households through the years. As
today's modern world continues to progress with the ongoing advent of more
technological innovations and better trending habits, a new stage is set to
take Filipino programming on any screen to a different level that is sure to become
more enjoyable in a surprising manner of sorts.
It was a few years ago when local newspapers and international media news outlets have reported that ABS-CBN is set to open a new state-of-the-art studio in the heart of San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan. It is said to be the new home for the company's entertainment programs considering that the studio features a series of soundstage backlots that are at par with those at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. Now it seems that its impending opening is on the verge of full completion based on what I've learned from recent reports and it is without any question that the new studio will become fully operational prior to the start of the new school year.
And it looks like the true number one television station in the country
is starting to take advantage of the new studio's capabilities and amenities as
several of its programs have already transferred to their new home including
the longest-running and world-renouned musical variety show ASAP while there
are reports of an undisclosed number of celebrities purchasing lots and
properties within the vicinity of the new studio. With these interesting
developments on hand and more on the horizon, ABS-CBN is planning to have daily
tapings which could lead to earlier cutoffs for independent artists doing the said
set.
It will only be a matter of time before ABS-CBN becomes at par with
film and television studio firms across North America once the new soundstages
make haste. But, what about the company's main headquarters within Mother
Ignacia Street in Quezon City? Well, ABS-CBN News will take care of that. One
big plus about it is that parts of the property will be used for commercial and
residential use, and I have no problem or worry about that matter due to the
ongoing cometh of modern trends. Regardless, Filipino viewers and their
families are set to experience anything beyond what they are seeing on any
screen in ABS-CBN's next chapter of progress.
