Starmobile UNO F301 (Image Source: Starmobile.ph) |
Starmobile continues to deliver its own range of engaging mobile
devices that cater to the needs of Filipino consumers especially those who
still satisfy to consider basic phones for their own communication and
entertainment purposes. Luckily and just in time for Mother's Month, the
so-called Happy Man of the Philippine mobile market literally brought back an
interesting feature that was once popular during the early years of the new
millennium.
Starmobile's new UNO F301 may have sport some intriguing basic specs
and features such as a wonderful 1.8-inch colored display, a VGA camera for
taking photos and video, and an FM radio with built-in speaker. But the best
thing about the phone that I could think of is that it has a clamshell design
that simply makes the F301 a flip phone to put it simple. Well, it is just one
of the many interesting feature phones for locals to satisfy their just for a
device that suits their budget and communication needs. It is available on
Starmobile concept stores and authorized resellers nationwide or online via
Starmobile's official online store for only Php899.
Starmobile UP Xtreme (Image Source: Pinoy Techno Guide) |
Aside from the UNO F301 flip phone, Starmobile has officially
introduced the newest member of its highly-engaging UP series of budget-friendly
entry-level smartphones - the Starmobile UP Xtreme. What makes the UP Xtreme
unique from other smartphones is that it has a shatter resistant screen dubbed
as the "Xtreme" screen that is said to be tougher than a regular
smartphone screen. A handful of local tech critics have already tried out the
new phone and are yet to write a review about it. Judging from what I've learned
from their initial impressions, the Xtreme screen is a no joke.
Another good thing about the Up Xtreme is that it is the first Starmobile
device to include a built-in freenet mobile
app where users can enjoy browsing their favorite apps and sites without
worrying about data charges and regardless of the phone's 3G connectivity. Take
note that freenet is exclusive for
Smart, Sun Cellular and Talk n'Text subscribers. Anyway, the Starmobile UP
