Many Filipino households are starting to get hooked on the best and finest
drama series from different parts of Asia being shown on their television sets
through one of ABS-CBN TV Plus' new exclusive channels, Asianovela Channel.
Since its inception about a month ago, it has become part of every Filipino
television viewer's daily routine as it showcases well-loved Asian dramas and movies
as well as some that are first to be seen on the small screens.
On one hand, the anticipated arrival of Asianovela Channel has been a
delightful surprise for local Asian drama lovers and it eventually received a
lukewarm welcome upon its launch. On the other hand, the new channel is
basically ABS-CBN's own way of thanking its millions of viewers who have
enjoyed its highly engaging foray of Asian dramas that were aired on local
television over the years since the phenomenon known as Meteor Garden and it
may probably be one of the reasons why it remains true to its monicker of being
the First and True Home of Asianovelas in the first place.
Anyway, what more can we expect from Asianovela Channel in the coming
months from now? Well, those who have watched the channel were surprised to see
a couple of Asian dramas that are first seen on television such as On The Way
To The Airport, Oh My Lady, Uncontrollable Fond, Orange Marmalade and Bubble Gum
while enjoying some of their favorite Asian dramas one more time such as
Goblin, Legend of the Blue Sea, Weightlifting Fairy, The King Is In Love and My
Love Donna which began airing this week. Otherwise, they can catch up on what
they have missed through weekend marathons with a splurge of Asian movies complementing
their weekend viewing habit.
Expect more of the finest Asian dramas to satisfy your viewing pleasure
in the coming months, especially the 2018 Meteor Garden which is still airing on
weekdays before TV Patrol on ABS-CBN. Asianovela Channel is available on free
trial for ABS-CBN TV Plus users in Metro Manila, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna,
Rizal, Metro Cebu and Cagayan de Pro until December 31, 2018. Follow
