Capcom's
Resident Evil series has revolutionized the survival horror genre and
eventually introduced it to the gaming world with its first installment
released in 1995 for the Sony PlayStation. Since then, generations of gamers from
around the globe have experienced the thrills and spills of every Resident Evil
game released through the years on various systems. Now, those who have owned
the Nintendo Switch can relive and experience the same thrills and spills with
the release of Resident Evil Origins Collection and Resident Evil 4 on the said
hybrid gaming console.
Resident
Evil Origins Collection is an excitingly intriguing compilation featuring the
remastered versions of the critically acclaimed Resident Evil and its popular
prequel Resident Evil Zero. Released for the third or fourth time on a Nintendo
system, the original Resident Evil revolves around the terrifying adventures of
STARS agents Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield inside a dauntlessly haunting
mansion. On the other hand, Resident Evil Zero takes you to the chilling survival
story of Rebecca Chambers and convict Chris Boen.

Meanwhile,
aside from the original and prequel in one compilation, those who are new to
the genre and franchise should binge-play and enjoy one of the series' all-time
best installments Resident Evil 4. Highly regarded as one of the best games
released for the Nintendo GameCube, RE4 allows players to take on the role of
Leon Kennedy who is out investigating in a certain village only to begin realizing
that something is wrong with the village people. And in case you don't know
what happens next, then I'll tell you that you should fight them in order to
solve the mystery behind their crazed behavior. At least that's what I thought
when I first learned about it.
Anyway,
old and new Resident Evil fans should be delighted in reliving the best of the
series on a unique gaming system like the Nintendo Switch. The Resident Evil
Origins Collection featuring Resident Evil 0 and a code for downloading the first Resident Evil is now available physically in video game shops nationwide
and online via GameOne.ph. On the other hand, Resident Evil 4 can only be
availed via the Nintendo eShop as a digital download so get your mobile wallets
ready especially those who happen to have a Paymaya account.
