ABS-CBN, the premiere media and entertainment company in the
Philippines, officially unveiled its roster of upcoming teleseryes to be launched
in 2020 including the highly-anticipated television comeback of Philippines'
hottest and most sought-after love teams KathNiel and LizQuen; Richard Gutierrez
and Bea Alonzo's first teamup; a romance drama featuring Kim Chiu, Xian Lim and
Yam Concepcion; and Gerald Anderson's inspiring action series at the network's
Christmas Trade Launch Party last October 30, Wednesday.
Following the record-breaking box office success of The Hows Of Us in
2018, the phenomenal on and off screen tandem of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel
Padilla are set to return to the small screens in a drama series to be shot
mostly in Mexico. Meanwhile, Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil reunite with the
blockbuster director Cathy Garcia-Molina for the romantic comedy series Make It
With You where the real-life couple is set to portray two quirly strangers who
meet and fall in love in the picturesque country of Croatia.
Bea Alonzo, on the other hand, gets caught in a love triangle in her first
project with Richard Gutierrez and Rafael Rosell in "Kahit Minsan
Lang" while Xian Lim becomes conflicted between his wife Yam Concepcion
and her half-sister Kim Chiu in Love Thy Woman. Gerald Anderson leads the pack
in the action-drama series A Soldier's Heart with Elmo Magalona, Yves Flores,
Nash Aguas, Jerome Ponce, Vin Abrenica and Carlo Aquino as his comrades. Kicking
off the Kapamilya programming slate for 2020 is the groundbreaking two-in-one
reality talent competition Your Moment hosted by Luis Manzano and Vhong Navarro
with Boy Abunda, Nadine Lustre and Billy Crawford as judges. The show airs every
Saturday at 7:30 pm and Sunday at 7:45 pm. Filipino teenagers will have the
chance to shine as the next singing superstar as The Voice Teens makes its return
soon.
Aside from upcoming shows, ABS-CBN also announced its lineup of original
content on its online streaming service iWant. Beefing up iWant's variety of content
in the coming months are the second season of "Bagman" starring Arjo
Atayde and Carlo Aquino, "Uncoupling" and "Barbara Reimagined" starring Nathalie Hart, Iza Calzado's "Loving
Emily", "Tapes" with Sam Milby and Yassi Pressman, digital
flicks featuring The Gold Squad - "Little Red Shoes" starring Kyle
Echarri and Francine Diaz" and "Wild Little Love" starring
Andrea Brillantes and Seth Fedelin - and "My Single Lady" starring
Jodi Sta. Maria, Ian Veneracion and Zanjoe Marudo.
