If there is anything that has captivated generations of Disney fans when it comes to Disney's Mulan, among such is the powerful ballad "Reflection". Written and produced by Matthew Wilder and David Zippel, the song holds a special place in the hearts of many Filipinos through the years considering that it is first sung by Lea Salonga who was Mulan's singing voice in the 1999 animated film.

With the reimagined live-action Mulan set to hit Philippine cinemas in the foreseeable future, Disney Philippines introduces a new voice to the iconic song that would surely connect to a new generation of Disney fans and it is no less than Moira Dela Torre, the most streamed Filipino music artist. Those who have attended the listening party were the first to hear Moira's rendition of the movie's most endeared song and eventually were given a special sneak peek at the upcoming music video. When asked how Moira felt when she discovered that Disney is tapping her to sing "Reflection" for fans in the Philippines, she shared that the song happens to be the first she ever performed in public and in full on her own which literally launched her love for music.

For Moira, being able to give justice to the iconic song would be a great honor knowing how it can inspire and empower today's generation of young Filipino girls. Disney's "Mulan" is supposed to be shown in cinemas nationwide on March 25, 2020 but it is set to be rescheduled to a later date due to the rising number of COVID-19 cases in the Philippines and around the world.
